The Mechanics of PDF Page Rotation Attributes
PDF pages don't actually modify the underlying coordinate arrays when rotated. Instead, each Page dictionary defines a /Rotate parameter. Valid values are multiples of 90 degrees (90, 180, 270). Changing this attribute changes the page display direction in any PDF reader. Our tool opens the PDF, targets the selected page dictionaries, updates their /Rotate values, and rebuilds the xref table instantly. Since the visual layers are not re-rendered, rotation executes in milliseconds with zero quality loss.
