Rendition Pipelines: PDF Vector Streams to Raster Pixels
Converting a PDF to images requires rasterization. The browser loading pipeline uses pdfjs-dist to parse page commands, rendering shapes, vector layers, and font glyphs onto an HTML5 Canvas. We extract raw pixel arrays from the canvas at high DPI (e.g. 150/300 DPI) and encode them into JPEG or PNG image blobs in browser memory. This ensures high-fidelity raster exports with zero server dependencies.
